When Betty twists her ankle, Archie tries to carry her to the nurse's office without Veronica spotting them, only to find that Veronica is the nurse's aide -- and happy to abuse her power to apply bandages.; While Mr. Lodge and Smithers look on with a mixture of horror and admiration, Veronica calmly does everything she can to prevent Archie and Betty from going on a date.; Betty discovers that Archie will pick the girl with maturity, dignity and refinement, so she and Veronica wind up throwing tomatoes and mud at each other in their battle to see who's more mature and adult.; The girls trick the boys into joining the ballet society, thinking they're signing up to do baggy-pants comedy.; Jinx hits a home run, but isn't very excited about it.; Betty and Ronnie admire a cut-out swimsuit in a store window.
