Reggie and Archie are going fishing instead of taking the girls to the movies. The girls show up at the fishing spot in a fancy boat and with a lunch, but the boys will soon find out there's a catch.; Betty and Veronica think Archie and Reggie are trying to assassinate each other.; Betty tips Archie to a prank with lipstick that Reggie and Veronica are playing on him.; Veronica decides that Betty, Jughead, and Reggie should build bird houses because so many trees were being cut down for new buildings. While they're doing that, she and Archie will make some bird-treat to attract birds to the houses.; Betty attempts to train a stray dog with advice from Reggie and that inspires her to apply the tactics elsewhere.; Archie and Reggie apply for the position of cheerleading coach. The two babble on to Betty about their plans, which don't include her. They get shot down when they learn that Betty is the one who gets to choose the coach and she picks Jughead.; Ickky reluctantly takes Ginger's niece ice-skating. He ignores the girl to go skating, but ends up in trouble.; Veronica is bored by scientific discoveries, but is excited when there is a dress sale at Gertz's.; Suzie mixes tomato, lettuce, cucumber, and green pepper seeds together before planting in order to raise a vegetable salad.; Archie takes Betty golfing for the first time.; Betty and Veronica spend the weekend viewing numerous scenic sights. However, Betty was most impressed by the sight of a handsome gas station attendant.; Reggie picks a fight, but gets the short end of the stick.; Jughead says he can tell a dogwood tree by its bark.; Veronica admires a hat in a store window. Archie does not admire the hat's price.
