Betty and Veronica are amused by the selection of Miss Grundy to give a lecture on women's rights. It takes Mr. Weatherbee, outlining all the pioneering gains Miss Grundy fought for in her past, to change the girls' opinion.; Betty borrows Hot Dog from Jughead so she can enter a dog sled race against Veronica. Veronica tries to make sure she'll win the race by over-feeding Hot Dog the night before.; Betty has a date with Archie for a dance, and goes looking for a formal dress. Veronica tricks her into thinking that it's a square dance and that she should wear a country-style outfit.; The girls are about to protest to get a girl bowler on the boys' team, until they realize that this would allow her to spend every Friday night practicing with the boys.
