Veronica claims that she insults everybody because she's "outspoken" and can't help telling people the truth about themselves. She gets a taste of her own medicine when a new girl is equally "outspoken" toward her.; Reggie suggests a great prank for Veronica to play on Betty: give her a pair of slacks that's two sizes too small, so she'll think she's gained a ton of weight. But Betty's attempts to lose the weight turn her into the school's greatest athlete.; Veronica's father wants her to mingle with the "unrich" (a word she uses because she can't bear to say "poor"). Betty reminds her that most of her friends are actually middle-class, but Veronica replies that "to me, anybody who isn't rich is poor." But when Betty informs her that the "unrich" wouldn't do things like use a twenty dollar bill as a bookmark, Veronica asks for advice on how to be truly "unrich."; Everybody shouts when they want to talk to Betty, and she's getting sick and tired of it.; Judging from the style of dress and the four-panel continuity, this is probably a reprint of two late fifties era Archie syndicated newspaper strips.
