Veronica tries to get Archie to act more sophisticated. However, all her attempts to improve Archie's etiquette backfire.; On a cold, windy afternoon, Betty borrows Archie's coat. The coat gets passed on to two more girls before being returned to Archie. Each of the girls leaves cosmetics in the coat pocket and when they return to get them, Veronica is skeptical of Archie's claim to have spent a dull afternoon.; Veronica says "Money buys anything! Including Archie!" Betty disagrees, so Veronica gives her some money and bets that Betty can make Archie break that night's date with Veronica. Betty buys two tickets to a big boxing match and then wonders if the temptation will be too much for Archie.; Veronica tells outlandish stories about how she's going to spend the evening. When she does tell the truth about dating a handsome boy, Archie doesn't mind because he doesn't believe her.; The gang is "digging" music. Archie's father would rather they "dig" the snow on the sidewalk.; While ice-skating, Betty uses her skates to write her phone number on the ice to attract the attention of a handsome boy.; When she is told to put on her best clothes, Jinx dresses up in a cowgirl outfit.
