At the police station, Archie and Jughead try to convince the cops that they are not using or selling drugs. Archie's dad arrives to vouch for him and the police explain how they can't always tell from appearances who is or is not a drug user. The boys are released and discuss the problem of drug abuse with Mr. Andrews on the way home.; Jughead tries to make Archie and Reggie see that Veronica is pitting them against each other for her own amusement.; Archie and Reggie compete in an obstacle auto race but neither one wins when they encounter an unexpected obstacle -- a girls' summer camp.; Mr. Andrews isn't very enthusiastic about celebrating his birthday.; Jinx is tempted to buy all kinds of things as she tries to take the money she's saved to the bank.; Dilton's date isn't very impressed when he takes her to the library.; Betty hopes to tag along with Archie on his errands.; Mr. Lodge encounters a clumsy barber.; Betty buys a new diary, but learns that Veronica has bought a much bigger one.
