With his sanity slipping, Deadpool hits the road with Weasel in search of Siryn. Instead, he finds T-Ray who sets a time and a date for their final showdown. He also encounters Zoe who warns him to stay away from T-Ray and certain death. When he finally catches up with Siryn in Iowa (at the "Field of Dreams" baseball field, no less), he has to punch his way through Warpath to get to her. Teresa gets mad at the violence and the jokes and ditches him. But later that night, after Deadpool has drowned his sorrows in skads of beer, she returns to the baseball diamond and the two get it on.
