Dollface's father finds Bunbrain a date for the prom, an employee from his office named Roger Vandermorgan III. He turns out to be a handsome young man and when Dollface's date turns up sick on the night of the prom, ends up escorting both girls to the event.; Dollface and Dopey have a fight and split up. Each takes a different date to the big dance, but they end up swapping dates and ending up together again.; Dollface takes her little sister on her date at the movies with Dopey. Sis makes it interesting by telling Dopey all about Dollface's date with Loveboat the previous evening.; Dollface and Bunbrain invite Dopey and Loveboat on picnic. However other girls invite the boys for other activities on the same day and all the girls end up at picnic, too.; Dollface and Bunbrain take a class in ballroom dancing, only to find their partners are young boys.; After Dollface's father buys a television set, the girls invite the boys over to watch, thinking they'll get to do some dancing when the boys are tired of watching the TV.; Dollface learns to swim to try to impress Dopey.; Dollface joins a Lonely Hearts Club; but the only letter she gets is one from Dopey.; Dollface and Bunbrain go to the theater to see singer Frankie Samone. Samone's press agent wants to use them as "typical bobby soxers" in a publicity photo after the show.; Dollface cheerfully helps her mother with spring cleaning after Dopey tells her he likes the domestic type.; Dollface finds some half-price fabric to make a dress for a party, but at the party she finds the color and pattern is the same as the hosts' couch and curtains.; Dollface starts knitting a pair of socks in the summer to give at Christmas; but the intended recipient keeps changing.; Bunbrain gives Dollface an ultra-short "modern 1950" hairstyle.
