After Bugs and Cicero laugh at Elmer's attempts to get stronger by lifting weights, Elmer's cousin Delmer comes to visit. Delmer looks just like Elmer and is incredibly strong. Delmer pretends to be Elmer to fool Bugs and Cicero.; Swami Ronnie throws a magic wishing coin out the car window rather than let Swami Salomi have it. Elmer finds the coin and wishes for a stew pot that is always full of food.; After witnessing a bank robbery, Elmer accidentally switches suitcases with the robbers at a train station. The robbers follow him to his Uncle Vincent's house in Pleasantburg to get their suitcase with the stolen money back.; Daffy tries to trick Elmer into believing "Dr. Daffy's Hair-Grower" really works.; Elmer needs a pet in order to be chairman of the Mayor's Pet Week activities. Elmer gets Daffy to pretend to be his pet, but Daffy's demands cause him nothing but trouble.; Elmer tries to get rid of an obnoxious parrot, but doesn't succeed until he writes his supper menu, which includes roast parrot.; Elmer gets a hotel room for only $1. It comes complete with ear muffs, since it is next to a clock tower with a loud bell.; Elmer tries to take a picture of an elephant to enter in an "unusual photo" contest, but ends up being the center of attraction for other photographers.
