Wanting to get away from Bugs, Elmer volunteers to test an experimental time machine. He goes back hundreds of years only to meet Bugs' "gweat, gweat, gweat gwandaddy." The pair then play out the Jack and the Beanstalk story.; Elmer goes golfing with his boss, but Daffy comes along as Elmer's caddy and disrupts things.; Elmer's new neighbor is wrestler Crusher McKirk, who is driving Elmer crazy with his loud and bad horn playing.; Elmer is a contestant on a TV quiz show and his task is to bring in a little black duck. As fate would have it, Daffy is mad at Elmer and won't go with him.; Because he's having trouble sleeping, Elmer puts up some wallpaper in his bedroom that will make him sleepy.; Elmer finds a treasure map and digs a hole from his carrot patch into Bugs' underground home.; Elmer sells all his umbrellas at his sidewalk stand, then doesn't have one for himself when he walks home in the rain.; Elmer goes into Bugs Bunny's tailor shop dressed in a barrel and comes out still in the barrel, but with small barrels around his legs.
