Rivets is let in the house during a storm. A burglar breaks in, but Rivets cluelessly helps him collect all the valuables. The burglar accidentally knocks himself out and Rivets gets the credit for capturing him.; While on a picnic with his owners, Rivets and his master, Stevie, a young boy, get sprayed by a skunk.; Rivets is accused of stealing a dinosaur bone after visiting the Museum of Natural History with his owners.; Rivets is depressed after being chased by a larger dog, but cheers up when he finds a small dog that he can chase.; Rivets follows Stevie and his father on a walk, but is told to go home. Instead when the two go in the door of the soda shop, they find Rivets waiting for them.; Rivets keeps salesmen and meter readers away from the house, but lets the butcher deliver his order.
