When Santa's beard is accidentally burned off, the animals go to the polar bear to have him donate some of his white fur to make a replacement beard.; The animals at the zoo are sad because everyone is too busy with Christmas activities to come visit them. The monkeys get out of the their cage and try to cheer up the rest of the animals.; The Big Bad Wolf pretends to be Santa in order to get into the Three Pigs' brick house.; A cricket living in Mr. Foote's house leaves because he feels he's not wanted. He takes up residence in a nearby home and meets Santa Claus. Santa tells the cricket he'll take him along to his next stop. That happens to be Mr. Foote's house and the cricket decides to move back in when he finds that Mr. Foote has missed him.; An old man tells his grandson about Santa bringing him the music box he wanted when he was a boy. Later Santa comes to the house and brings the present the young boy wanted most--a portable radio. The man decides that the radio is a "modern music box" and that things really don't change very much.; The twins sneak downstairs on Christmas Eve to cut the toes out of their stockings so they'll get more presents.
