Uncle Wiggily finds that he can bound high in the air with the aid of air-filled rubber pillows on his feet and guide himself with his umbrella. After Uncle Wiggily foils Skeezicks' attempt to steal a bird's nest; Skeezicks and his pal Pip plot to get revenge.; Uncle Wiggily mixes up a batch of mosquito repellent, but it attracts mosquitoes rather than repels them. He counters with a suit made of mosquito netting.; Uncle Wiggily digs a hole deep under a tree to bury his fortune. However a fox chases Kitty Puss into the hole and after Uncle Wiggily keeps him from entering, the fox fills in the entrance. Uncle Wiggily and Kitty burrow their way to the safety of the Bushytails' home in a nearby hollow tree.; Uncle Wiggily invents a portable bed with folding sides. He spends the night outside in it, but is captured by the Ragged Old Bob Cat and the Bushy Bear and taken to their hideout in the mountains. Wiggily escapes by coasting the bed downhill, only to find that its wide flat surface causes it to fly.; Uncle Wiggily repairs the damage after he accidentally cuts Albert Angleworm in half while hoeing the garden.; Uncle Wiggily joins two teams of bugs who are playing a baseball game.; Betty Bluebird builds a nest in Uncle Wiggily's hat, forcing him to buy a new one at Benny Beaver's store.
