When Madeline forgets to mail Will-Yum's invitation to her party, Will-Yum tries to convince everyone that Madeline has the measles. To make up for that, Will-Yum is only allowed to come to the party if he brings the biggest present.; Sniffy accidentally hypnotizes Will-Yum into believing he's a rabbit and then a turtle.; Will-Yum agrees to go with Skinny to the store, but only it he goes straight there and back. He does so, strictly speaking, but the route goes through people's houses, cars, and back yards.; After earning 50 cents for mowing a yard, Will-Yum tries to dodge his friends who want him to buy them sodas.; Will-Yum gets a job as a caddy at a golf course, but knows nothing about golf.; Madeline is playing school and Sniffy and Will-Yum try to trick her into thinking that her stuffed dog can talk.; Whizzer can read the newpaper, but can't turn the pages.; Lionel finds some letters on his father's desk and delivers them around the neighborhood.; Will-Yum goes at dawn to Elwood's house to see if he's up.
