Still wounded from his battle with Koga, Inuyasha intercedes and takes on Kagura to prevent her from taking Koga's shards.; Everybody sits around the village waiting for Kagome to return from the twentieth century, which she refuses to do, or for Inuyasha to go to the twentieth century and apologize, which he refuses to do.; Kagome finally relents after realizing that Inuyasha traveled to her bedroom, but couldn't bring himself to apologize.; Inuyasha and crew encounter a demon bear driven wild by a Shikon Shard in its forehead. But before they can attack it, a horde of Naraku's demon wasps kill it and steal the shard. Meanwhile Koga's wolf clan plans a raid on a local castle to steal the owner's shards, but finds it heavily protected.; Through Kagura, Naraku sets Koga up to think Inuyasha slaughtered his wolf pack.; After Koga defeats Inuyasha, Kagura intercedes with the intent of carving Koga up and taking his shards.; Inuyasha uses The Wind Scar to drive back Kagura. As she escapes, the group realizes that Kagura is a demonic aspect of Naraku.; Kagome attempts to cure Koga of the poison from the phony shard in his arm. Naraku sends Kagura on another mission with a new partner.; The group encounters a house servant running away from the lecherous intentions of her master's son. Kanna decides to use her to attack the group by stealing her soul with an enchanted mirror.; While Kagura occupies the attention of Inuyasha, Miroku and the villagers, Kanna ambushes Kagome and attempts to steal her soul.
