Looking for Naraku, Inuyasha and the gang visit an island where a living Buddha is reported to exist. Once there, they find the dead body of their guide's father, the temple damaged and Bankotsu waiting for them.; Bankotsu, the leader of the Band Of Seven, invades a castle single-handed to reclaim his weapon Banryu and to avenge himself on the people who put him to death.; Hakushin's religious talisman, The Dokko, intercedes in the battle and aids Bankotsu.; The gang search Mount Hakurei for Naraku, but find Kikyo instead, much to Kagome's displeasure.; Koga and Inuyasha attack the remnants of the Band Of Seven looking for Naraku.; The gang battles the Band Of Seven. Sesshomaru searches around Mount Hakurei for Naraku. Rin accidentally discovers a nest of demons in a cave inside of the supposedly holy mountain.; The Band Of Seven retreat in the face of the Wind Scar, but not before Renkotsu attempts to kill Kagome to keep her from revealing that he is holding out jewel shards from Bankotsu. Rin reports what she's seen to Sesshomaru.; The Band Of Seven take sanctuary on Mount Hakurei. Bankotsu takes the jewel shards from Renkotsu and uses them to reinforce his weapon.; While Inuyasha battles Bankotsu, Miroku searches for what is maintaining the purification shield around the island, with the priest Hakushin missing.; Kohaku and Kanna transport Bankotsu to the center of Mount Hakurei. Miroku and Sango enter the barrier to find out what's going on. Koga is attacked by Renkotsu and Ginkotsu.
