The students at Riverdale high keep littering, ignoring the signs Mr. Weatherbee has put up. Archie decides to create a comic pamphlet starring the Archies, arguing that a comic book will get the message across better than a sign. The comic works so well that Mr. Weatherbee realizes that "you could use comic booklets for getting almost any message across to people."; Mr. Lodge quits his business empire and runs off to San Francisco to "do his own thing." Archie goes to Frisco to try and find Mr. Lodge and bring him back to Riverdale.; Archie writes a highly influential article about automobile safety for the school paper. Unfortunately, thanks to the influence of his article, no one will ride in his car any more, since Old Betsy is exactly the kind of unsafe car Archie was describing.; Jughead tells Archie that his horoscope says it's his lucky day, and Archie believes it.
