Archie breaks a date with Veronica when he has to tidy up the garden. So Veronica goes searching for Reggie. Betty then comes over to help Archie with the garden.; Archie is given a letter to mail from Veronica. It's to Bill Golden, a friend of Mr. Lodge's, who lives in Australia. Archie misplaces the letter, but in a Rube Goldberg series of events, it manages to get to Australia in record time anyway.; As usual, Big Moose takes what people say much too literally!; Archie and Veronica play the most dangerous game at the Lodge's house -- croquet!; Li'l Jinx does some window shopping, looking at candy and snacks.; Archie gets distracted by other girls while he and Veronica are at the beach.
