Betty blows up "Archie Loves Betty" balloons and sends them flying all over town. A furious Veronica makes Archie retrieve the balloons at cost to life and limb.; Archie writes an article on male superiority for the school paper which makes Veronica and Betty angry. Veronica drops Archie, with Betty only too willing to pick him up. Archie decides to become a "lone wolf" and check out other girls.; Betty and Veronica go bowling and with Moose's help turn the bowling alley into a shambles.; Mr. Weatherbee thinks it's disgraceful when the high school girls wear skirts that show the knee and demands they wear longer skirts.; Betty and Cathy complain that Reggie neglects them by scavenging for money while on a date. Veronica says that won't happen to her, but makes the mistake of having a picnic by a creek where gold was once found.; Hap is proud of the vegetables he raised in his back yard. Jinx says they taste just as good as the ones you buy at the store.
