Chester spends a fortune trying to impress rich girl Brenda Van Loot, but fails. Lester is broke, so when he dates Brenda he does it on the cheap and Brenda is impressed by the novelty.; Martians capture Lester and show him all their latest weapons. Instead of being frightened, Lester thinks the weapons would be useful on Earth. The Martians decide Earth people are too crazy to be frightened and call off their invasion.; Professor Klops tests a vitamin ray on teens Joe and Janet, but it shrinks them instead. The teens find some advantages to being small, but also some dangers.; A professor entertains space travelers with a thought machine that converts energy into matter. The thought machine was invented long ago and the population eventually became so bored that it lost its will to live. The professor is the last one on the planet and when he gets bored his thought items disappear, leading to a twist ending.; The son of Dr. Jerkyll continues his father's experiments and turns into rock star Melvin Preston. After a close escape with autograph hunters, he decides to change his features to Eliot Mess, the FBI agent. That doesn't work either, because gangs target him. He tries an antidote, but forgets to dilute it and ends up in an even worse predicament.; Chester does the introduction while Lester is quarantined inside his house with the measles.; Hilda introduces the Monster Hall of Shame.; When readers claim Hilda is a fake, she changes herself into part of the comic book itself.
