An Army pilot returns to Intelligence HQ with a story about a magic ring that grants wishes. Both Steve and Etta make wishes, which do come true. However, Etta's wish leads to a revolution of the island of Zani, and Steve is demoted for preventing the uprising.; A young boy grows up always being encouraged to be "first" in everything he does. Green Lantern must face this young man in his later years and try to prevent him from being number one in crime as well!; A chemist has created a special serum formula that makes men act like animals and allows him to mentally control the individual ingesting it. The Flash discovers the horrible creation firsthand while dining at a local restaurant, whose food contains the strange drug.; Hop and Tank are contracted to deliver a crate of eggs to a lumber camp. However, Tank thinks the pair need a larger plane in order to deliver more cargo.
