A magic mouse takes the Little People to a faraway castle, where the Old One helps him break the spell of a mean magician by answering the riddle "Where does a hole go when it's filled up?"; The lazy Groons fool the forest folk by telling them they are collecting food for the Little People, when they are just collecting for themselves.; A large fish pulls Jink, Cork, and Chub's boat far downstream where they land upon the Island of Enchanted Pearls. Anything that is touched by an enchanted pearl gains the power of speech. The Old One brings Tar, the crow, to rescue them.; Loop and Jink help Mr. Tortise get off his back, only to find that he was enjoying a rest from his wife's list of chores.; The Old One enlists Lilacs the skunk to get Loop out of bed.; Cork's golf ball goes in a hollow tree and hits a rabbit. The rabbit takes the golf ball and returns the favor.
