In a series of captions, some of which rhyme and some of which don't, Seymour's "proud poppa" tells us the story of a typical day in the life of his klutzy, girl-crazy teenaged son.; Archie puts the wrong code in the store's security system and locks himself and his friends in the store for the night, along with two smaller kids who had been hiding in the store.; Veronica tells her father that he has to be nice to Archie during her pool party. Mr. Lodge tries but Archie burns the food and drives Mr. Lodge's sports-car into the pool. When burglars crash the party, they take Archie and Mr. Lodge hostage.; Archie explains his outlook on life to his friends and they take his advice to live each day as if it was the last.; Betty and Jughead try to convince Archie that luck doesn't exist.; Archie and his father go shopping for new patio furniture.; When Archie drops a cake on Superintendent Hassle, Mr. Weatherbee is forced to give him detention on the last day of school.; As Archie is heading to the beach, he gets a letter accepting him as an intern to the Riverdale Bugle, the local newspaper, but he has to start that same day.
