Mr. Lodge buys up all the restaurants on the same block with Pop Tate, and decides that Archie and Veronica should make Pop a small offer on his malt shop before he has to declare bankrupcy. Midge and Moose break up and each finds someone else. Tempers flare during a Riverdale High reunion at the malt shop over Mr. Lodge's business tactics. When things look bleak, Moose announces his true first name and that's he's running for mayor of Riverdale.; Archie and Reggie go scuba-diving and are sucked down a tube into the secret underwater kingdom of Neptunia, where visitors from the outside world are fed to a giant clam. The boys have to find a way back to the surface before they become clam food.; Mr. Weatherbee dreads the accidents that will inevitably occur on Archie's birthday.; A mysterious stranger who asks Fran for help is kidnapped; the gang tracks him to a graveyard where Fran also disappears.; Ginger is drawing a blank for new fashion ideas when inspiration hits her: a fashion show based on Betty's and Veronica's styles called: "Are You A Betty Or A Veronica?"; Every time Josie tries to attract a boy at the beach, the bikini-clad Melody comes along and unwittingly steals him away.; When the Mole Men kidnap Little Veronica it's up to Little Archie to turn into Little Captain Pureheart and rescue her.; While trapped on a ledge with Archie, Betty's hair gets twisted and she becomes Superteen.; Archie fantasizes as he writes Veronica an invitation to the prom. After asking Betty to the prom ,he learns that Jughead mailed the letter. Veronica accepts the invitation and Archie has to juggle two dates at the prom.; Cosmo and Orbi are marooned on the moon with the Moonlings (all named Oog), when Professor Thimk, Astra, and the dog JoJo arrive from Mars to rescue them. But first they have to go to Venus. Two Moonlings and the Gillywump from the Dark Side of the Moon stow away for the trip to Venus.; The feud between Mr. Wilkin and Mr. Smythe causes them to ban their families from visiting each others' houses.; Jughead tutors Lottie, even though Moose will punch out any other boy who even LOOKS at Lottie.; A narrator is skeptical of Archie's resolution to avoid getting into trouble, especially after Archie stops to help a beautiful woman into her car and winds up being late for school.; After Midge breaks up with him, Moose is on the rampage.; The class goes on a picnic.; Archie meets Betty, a girl who has just moved into the neighborhood. He shows off for her, claiming he can do anything. At a carnival that weekend, Betty meets a man who needs a tight rope walker. Betty, remembering that Archie can do anything, volunteers Archie with humorous results.; Salem goes fishing and helps an old sea captain save his boat.; When they hear Archie has tickets to a popular concert, Betty and Veronica compete to be the one he takes.; The crew arrives on Venus, and discovers that small volcanoes cause the gaseous cloud around the planet. Cosmo, Orbi, and Astra unknowingly sit on a sleeping Venusian monster, who wakes up and kidnaps Orbi.; The Archies visit Filmation, the animation studio that produces their Saturday morning cartoon. The producers and director are astonished to find that the real Archies are crazier than the TV cartoon versions.; Mr. Weatherbee sends Archie to talk to a truant student.; Meet Sabrina, a sexy teen witch who lives a typical teen-age life -- except that her job is to hex her fellow teens. She introduces us to the rules of witchery: witches can't cry, can't sink when they're in the water, and if they ever fall in love, they lose their powers.; Sabrina is infected with a particular strain of germ so that whenever she sneezes, the person next to her is turned into a clown.; A Venusian Monster helps Astra out of the crevice, and Orbi tells the crew that a short circuit in his helmet has caused the monsters to become afraid of him. The story ends with the monsters taking the crew to meet the queen.; Li'l Jinx's parents want to go to a movie but have a hard time finding anybody to baby sit Li'l Jinx after all the things she's done in the past.; Reggie discusses his monster-like ego.; Jughead and Archie try to make donuts for a baking contest.; When Cosmo tells Professor Thimk about Orbi's kidnapping, the group goes looking for him and Astra falls into a crevice.; Jughead paints himself a girlfriend and she magically steps off the canvas. But she's less than impressed with her new date.
