The Archies and Josie and the Pussycats are co-billed on a tour of both bands, despite Alexander trying to get top billing for the Pussycats. The two groups then decide to write a couple of songs to play together for the tour. While the other players call it a night, Archie and Valerie continue working on a romantic ballad. The two finish the song, eat the remaining pizza from dinner and watch the sun rise. They then share a quick kiss that blooms into a deeper one.; Archie discovers a new Riverdale High student who turns the school's struggling baseball team around: Gene "Scooter" Jackson, a diminutive kid whose incredible speed makes him an incredible shortstop.
