Archie plays hooky from school to avoid making a speech, but Betty and Veronica think he's skipped school to make time with the notorious man-eater Zsa Zsa Laverne.; Archie gets on Mr. Weatherbee's nerves and he is glad to be away from him after school. However when Mr. Weatherbee is sitting home alone that evening, he realizes that the students at school are really his family and he needs to be more patient with Archie.; Little Archie discovers that Miss Grundy secretly is the author of the Dave Dynamic stories he reads.; Jughead is angry that Archie ditches his plans with Jughead any time a pretty girl walks by.; Veronica refuses to go out in the snow.; Jughead fantasizes about being a twenties-era gangster.; While skiing, Jughead sees Big Ethel.; Veronica announces that her father has decided it's time for her to leave Riverdale High and go to a private school, where she can learn to associate with people in her own social circle. Archie manages to talk Mr. Lodge out of it by reminding him of his own lower-class origins.; Jughead's flute playing is so bad that it drives everybody crazy. The girls pretend it's irresistible, so he hands it off to Reggie, who tries it out with unwelcome results.; Jughead attempts to use psychology in order to avoid Ethel in the upcoming "Sadie Hawkins" style event.; Coach Kleats tells Archie to guard the football team's star player, Reggie, and make sure he's in shape to play in the upcoming game. Archie turns this to his advantage by constantly tagging along with Reggie when he tries to get some time alone with Veronica.; Archie learns that Miss Grundy and Mr. Weatherbee are coming over to his house to see his parents.; Reggie makes fun of Archie's ice fishing hobby.; Veronica tricks Betty into thinking she has the symptoms of a rare disease. Miss Grundy turns the tables on Veronica.; Jughead finds a card entitling the bearer to free food at the appointed hour. So he stands at the designated spot in a driving snowstorm, waiting for the appointed hour.; To demonstrate to Archie that wealth has its privileges, Veronica has one of her father's assistants perform three out-of-the-ordinary tasks.; Archie and Jughead save a child from crashing his sled.; Moose and Midge have a fight and split up.
