He finds that in the Doctor's absence, Professor Pither From Planet Pluto is using Crackstone Manor to create tiny tornadoes that can steal people's jewelry.; After Little Archie protects Sue Stringly and her scrawny Christmas tree from the South Side Serpents, the two run out onto the ice after her dog Snuffles and get caught on an ice floe that takes them out into the middle of the river.; Mr. Weatherbee is ice-fishing for the legendary Perilous Pike of Logger's Pond, but the boys almost catch the Perilous Pike using a sandwich as bait.
